Out of Sight but Still Kicking

Unfortunately it’s another one of those “it’s been a while I haven’t posted just wanted to let you know I’m still alive” posts.

Due to unforeseen life stuff, you know what I’m talking about, those curve balls life throws at you when you least expect it, I didn’t really have the time nor the inclination to post here for the past few weeks.

Fortunately, things are slowly returning to their normal state. I have however been working on things during this little hiatus, so keep an eye out for some news and new work as well.

It’s funny how everything has a balance. When things are going too smooth in life there’s always something unexpected that creeps up to bring some balance to it all. Conversely, when things aren’t going so well, with some patience and perseverance, something good will come along to balance that out as well.

One thing I’ve learned is that patience and not worrying about or thinking about things you have no control over might suck and be the hardest things to to do, but they really are your only choices sometimes.

Serendipity

According to Wikipedia: Serendipity is the effect by which one accidentally stumbles upon something fortunate, especially while looking for something entirely unrelated.

It’s derived from Serendip, the Persian name for Sri Lanka. The Persian word itself has been derived from Sanskrit name for Sri Lanka viz. Swarnadweep (Swarna meaning golden and Dweep meaning island)

The word has been translated into many languages (French sérendipicité or sérendipité but also heureux hasard, “fortunate chance”; Italian serendipità; Dutch serendipiteit; German Serendipität; Swedish, Danish and Norwegian serendipitet; Romanian serendipitate; and Spanish serendipia).

Now, let’s put aside the definition and etymology of the word. The moment you realise what you’ve found, eventhough you weren’t looking for it… isn’t it just fucking fantastic?!

Everything Else is Secondary
