Okay, here’s what’s been happening. I’m more than half way through the mother of all to do lists (and sub-lists) which I wrote a while back. This has been a great weight off my shoulders cause I actually did the right thing and started with the bigger stuff like filing taxes and all, and left the easier stuff for later. Normally it happens the other way around (you all know what I mean).
The other thing I’ve been up to might be useful for some so I thought I might as well make a post of it. It seems like there are just too many ways to network socially and present your work, and it’s just getting a little crazy. So, I’ve been going through the more popular ones and seeing how others have used them and trying to be very picky about which ones I use myself and how.
I have a few goals in mind for doing this. First, I want to minimise my time spent on the computer (fat chance, that’s gonna happen). Second, I want to present my work in the best way possible. Third, I want to keep in touch with and respond to my 3 or 4 loyal followers (although thanks to Trini’s “forced marketing techniques” on her friends and family, I now have a few more followers on the blog here… Hi! / Hola! and welcome / bienvenido). Forth, I want to be able to update and distribute with the least amount of time and little chance of double publishing so as not to annoy.
Well, after a few days of experimentation, trial and error I believe I’ve come up with a list that suits my way of working and allows me to concentrate more on stuff away from the computer. This list is just for the web based social networking sites and a little on web based tools. I’ll be writing up a post on the photo workflow/software stuff later on.
So here it is:
That’s basically it. Hope you get some use out of it.

One very well made and very inspirational video. Definately worth a look.
I ran across this little photo contest called The Best Camera Challenge and decided to enter a few of my shots. Basically it’s a contest for photos taken and edited only with a phone camera.

Just found out that the photo below won a place in the June 2010 Show of La Pura Vida Photography Gallery. According to the site:
